To kick off your digital contract management journey right, the best way is to understand and utilize the platforms features. In this article we will briefly explain the main tabs and features that you will work in:
In the "Templates" section you can quickly find a predefined template and adjust it to your needs or create your own template from scratch.
In the "Documents" section you can see your draft and contracts.
Here you can find all your drafts you're currently working on. You'll be also able to share your drafts with others for a review or to work on them together.
The main difference between a draft and template is that:
Templates are reusable documents used for creating contracts. Templates are meant to be more static documents with basic information in it.
Drafts are contracts in the making. You can create a draft from scratch or pick a template as your starting point. All contracts created in Contractbook will be a draft at some point in the process.

As well, under Documents you can see all your sent, received, and uploaded contracts and the status of those contracts, eg: Pending, Signed, Rejected, or Requested Changes. Here's how it looks:
The whole purpose is to give you the best possible way to have an easy overview of all of your contracts, so that you quickly can take action.
You can further organize you documents with groups!
In the "Team" section you are able to add your colleagues and start collaborating with greater transparency throughout your organization.
Manage your team by setting up permissions so that you can control who sees who's contracts, quickly send templates in between members.

In the profile settings you are able to setup basic information, change your plan, or fetch a unique API-key for larger integrations.
It is important AND will save you a lot of time if you fill in all of your information in the profile settings. Every time you send out a contract it will remember and use your data, so that you don't have to fill this out every single time.
Email language can be set to either English or Danish, depending on your customers.

When you have used up your first free contracts you can choose your plan in this section of the profile settings.

Save time by saving your contacts! With a few clicks you can create contacts, edit them when required, and delete them when they are no longer necessary.
