To ensure your peace of mind and to stay true to our word of keeping all your contracts in one place, we allow you to upload all your already signed contracts and other important files for safe storage on our platform. You can even add relevant data to your files such as signature status, signature date, and signing parties.
Here is how you do it:
1. Import files
Go to your Documents tab and find the button that says Upload a document.
When you have clicked the button a new tab will open and ask you to choose the files you wish to upload. Click Choose files and chose the files you want to store on our platform. You can upload one or multiple files at a time.
2. Review and add information
Now you can review the settings for your uploaded document(s) and:
- Name the document
- Set the signature date
- Add contract parties
- Mark as signed
- Add tags, if relevant
When you have saved your documents they will appear under My documents along with the documents that were created on Contractbook.
Tip: You can upload documents to other people's accounts. This can be particularly useful for team cooperation.
Remember that you can organise your documents with tags and filters.
