Best practice when more than one person from a company needs to sign a contract.

There are many cases where more than one person from a company needs to sign a contract. This short article will teach you the best practice for doing this on Contractbook.

Best practice when sending out a contract with multiple signees from one party

As an example, we will show you a contract that is supposed to be signed by two representatives from two companies i.e. four signees in total signing for two parties. Please bear in mind that this is just an example and you can add parties and/or signees as needed.

Step 1: Open or create the draft you want to use.

Step 2: Fill in the party details for all parties. As there are only two parties (with two signees each) you only need to have two parties in total, not four.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the draft and use the Add Signee button to create four fields in total.

Step 4: Fill in the details for each person who is signing the contract. You use the dropdown menu to choose which company they belong to.

Once you have added all four signees your signature field will look something like this:

That's it! The draft is now ready to be signed by two representatives from both companies!

You can customise the signing process. You can read more about how to do that under point 2 in this article.
