As it is right now, you, unfortunately, cannot change the email address that is associated with your Contractbook account for a number of reasons related to security and document history.
For this reason, you will have to create a new Contractbook profile with the email address you want to use going forward.
What do I do with the signed contract on my old profile?
In regards to the signed contracts that are stored on your old profile, you have a few different options:
Option 1: If you do not need regular access to your old contracts, you can just keep them on the old profile. This is the easiest solution. However, it can lead to problems accessing your contracts if you forget your password and no longer have access to the old email account.
Option 2: Download all your signed contract from the old profile and upload them to the new profile. This is the best option if you are on the pilot plan and still need regular access to your old contracts. You can read more about how to upload your old contracts to Contractbook here.
Option 3: Use direct share to share your signed Contracts with the new profile. You can read more about how to share documents here. Please be aware that this option is only available to users on Collaborate and Integrate.
Option 4: Create a shared folder on the new profile and invite the old profile to the shared folder. Then add your signed contracts to the shared folder. Please be aware that this option is only available to users on Collaborate and Integrate.
Option 5: Create a team on the new profile and invite the old profile to the team. You can then disable the old profile if you like. As the team owner, your new profile will be able to see all documents created on the old profile. This is the least labour-intensive option but it does require you to be on a paying plan.
What do I do with the templates on my old profile?
If you have templates on your old profile that you would like to use on your new profile, you can just send them to the new profile. This article shows you how.
